What are the advantages of peppermint oil, and where is it used?

  Peppermint essential oil has many applications; no wonder this oil is a staple in many medical offices of people. And surely it does more than just refresh your breath! It is used to alleviate nausea and other digestive problems, to wake the senses before a long meeting, and to relax muscles overworked (thanks to the Menthol). Fortunately, peppermint helps to reduce congestion, calm headaches, and the symptoms of PMS. It should be remembered that essential peppermint oil  has a high concentration and is much more than other essential oils. The topical use of peppermint oil is generally healthy, but a carrier oil like almond or jojoba oil should be used to dilute them. Some people may experience a burning feeling or allergic rash, especially with sensitive skin. More importantly, it is never advisable to use young children.
